Our Pastor

A little about our pastor…

Pastor Karl Strenge was ordained and installed at Redemption Lutheran Church in July of 2003.  He came to Redemption from Concordia Seminary in St Louis, MO.  Before entering the Seminary in 1999 Pastor Strenge was a teacher for three year in Ironton, MO where he taught history and a school to work program.  Pastor also studied at Eastern Illinois University where he received a BA and a MA in history.

He is married to his wife Christa (nee Wascher) and they are expecting their sixth child.
